Hi, I'm Melissa, proud founder of Your Floral Preservation LLC.

When I’m not preserving flowers you can find me working on a DIY home renovation project with my husband of 10 years. Give me a power drill and some paint, I can make magic.

You’ll also see me homeschooling my daughter, twisting my ankle trying to play some outdoor sport, or breaking out into a dance at a store. They play the millennial jams these days and I am ok being the target audience.

My floral preservation obsession began in 2018 with some old books and a handful of flowers.

I quickly learned there’s a lot more to it than just squishing flowers in a book.

So naturally I did what anyone with ADHD would do and I went all the way down the rabbit hole of researching, experimenting and taking classes.

For me, pressing flowers is more than a craft; It's my peaceful retreat that helps me through tough times, keeping me grounded and bringing me calm.

but the best part? Getting to know you and preserving a piece of your love story.
